Distance Contract

This Distance Contract (from now on - the Contract) is concluded between Seller: Jaunpils parish farm Mežvīni, Registration number: 40001012774, address: "Mežvīni", Jaunpils, Tukuma district, LV-3145, Latvia, phone: +371 26591865, Swedbank: LV16HABA0551032324106, e-mail: [email protected], and Buyer: any person who places an order on the website jaunpilsbites.lv and purchases goods or services offered by the Seller.


1. General Provisions

1.1. This Contract is concluded in accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia and applies to all purchases made through the website jaunpilsbites.lv

1.2. By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree to the terms of this Contract.


2. Products and Ordering Procedure

2.1. The products offered on the website jaunpilsbites.lv are bee products and other beekeeping-related products.

2.2. The Buyer selects products, indicates the required quantity, and places an order on the website by filling out the order form.

2.3. The Buyer chooses their preferred delivery method, specifying the exact delivery address or parcel locker and their contact information.

2.4. The Buyer makes the payment using the payment options available on the website.

2.5. The order is considered accepted when the Seller confirms it by sending an email to the Buyer with the order details.


3. Prices and Payment Procedure

3.1. All prices on the website are indicated in euros, including value-added tax (VAT) if applicable.

3.2. The Buyer can pay for the products using the payment methods specified on the website. Payment is considered complete upon receipt of funds in the Seller's bank account.

3.3. If payment is not made within the specified time, the Seller has the right to cancel the order.


4. Product Delivery

4.1. Product delivery is made to the address specified by the Buyer using a courier or chosen parcel locker, utilizing the Seller's or third-party delivery services.

  • DPD courier: 19.99 (For orders outside Latvia)


4.3. We commit to process and ship your order no later than 3 business days from the order confirmation.

4.4. Delivery times and costs may vary depending on the delivery location and chosen delivery method.

4.5. The Seller is not responsible for delays in product delivery if they are caused by reasons beyond the Seller's control. (During holidays, order delivery times may differ due to the delivery company's workload).

4.6. The Buyer is obligated to collect the order from the parcel locker in a timely manner, observing the storage time in the parcel locker as specified by the delivery company. If the order is not collected, it is returned to the Seller.

4.7. The Buyer is obligated to be at the specified address at the time of product delivery and receive it. If the order is not received, it is returned to the Seller.

4.8. If the Buyer fails to comply with points 4.4. and 4.5., the Seller is not responsible for any losses. In this case, the Buyer has the option to contact the Seller and agree on payment for re-shipping costs by writing to the email [email protected], indicating the order number.


5. Right of Withdrawal

5.1. According to the Consumer Rights Protection Law, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from the product within 14 days of receiving it.

5.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal:

The Buyer must send the Seller a completed and signed "Right of Withdrawal Form - Application for Withdrawal", FORM HERE along with a copy of the purchase receipt, within 14 days of receiving the product, to the email: [email protected]

After receiving the "Right of Withdrawal Form - Application for Withdrawal",... we will send you a confirmation of receipt of the form.

5.3. Product Return

  1. The Buyer must send the product back to the Seller within 7 days from the moment the Seller has confirmed receipt of the "Right of Withdrawal Form - Application for Withdrawal" via email. The product must be returned in the condition it was received, undamaged and in its original packaging. When returning the product, the Buyer ensures its safe packaging for shipping to prevent any damage to the product or its packaging during shipping. The product should be used for inspection purposes in the same way as it would be available in a store.
  2. When returning the product, the Buyer covers the shipping costs, except in cases where a product damaged during delivery is returned (See point 5.5 for returning damaged products) or the product does not match the order (e.g., candles sent instead of honey, mixed honey or mixture types).

5.4. Cases when the product cannot be returned:

The right of withdrawal cannot be used in the following cases:

  • The product has been used or damaged after receipt.
  • The product is not complete (missing packaging, parts, or part of the content has been used).
  • The product is made to individual order.
  • The product spoils quickly or has a short expiration date.
  • After delivery, the product has irreversibly mixed with other items.
  • The product is sealed and for health protection or hygiene reasons is not suitable for return if it has been opened after delivery.

5.5. Returning Damaged Products:

If you have received a product damaged during delivery:

Immediately inform us by sending the Order Number and photographs evidencing the damage to the email [email protected]

We will contact you to agree on a solution (product exchange or refund).

5.6. Refund:

We will assess the quality of the returned product and refund the product value within 30 days.

The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction.


Important!

5.7. The color tone of products in photographs may slightly differ from the actual color tone. Color tones may vary due to lighting, photography conditions, and device screen settings.

5.8. The visual presentation of gift sets may be adapted from available materials and season. We always strive to maintain the overall concept and value of the set, but individual elements such as flower types, nut assortment, or decorative accessories may be replaced with equivalents. Our goal is to create a gift set that is just as attractive as originally depicted, even if some decorative elements may differ from those shown in the photograph.


6. Warranty and Claims

6.1. The Seller ensures product quality in accordance with the regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia.

6.2. If the product has defects, the Buyer has the right to request its exchange or return in accordance with the law.

6.3. Claims regarding product quality must be submitted by the Buyer to the Seller in writing via email [email protected] or using the contact form available on the website.


7. Data Protection

7.1. The Buyer's personal data is processed in accordance with the Seller's Privacy Policy, which is available on the website jaunpilsbites.lv

7.2. The Buyer's data is used only for order processing, delivery, and other communication needs.


8. Other Provisions

8.1. The Seller has the right to unilaterally change the terms of this Contract. Changes take effect from the moment they are published on the website.

8.2. Uncertainties related to this Contract are resolved in accordance with the regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia.


9. Final Provisions

9.1. This Contract is valid until the full fulfillment of the parties' obligations.

9.2. By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree to all terms of this Contract.
